Description
Commercial Vehicle Enforcement
In conjunction with Alberta Infrastructure Inspection Services, Camrose Police Service works to ensure that commercial vehicles are operated safely.
Impaired Driving Enforcement
Camrose Police Service has enhanced its efforts to enforce impaired driving laws, resulting in an increase in arrests for impaired driving in the City.
Photo Radar / Laser Radar Enforcement
The Camrose Police Service website provides information on radar traffic enforcement and fine rates.
Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (S.T.E.P.)
Each month, Camrose Police Service selects a traffic safety area of concern and focuses enforcement on that traffic law. The program is run in conjunction with provincial initiatives regarding seat belt and impaired driving violations.

Alberta Occupant Restraint Program (AORP)
Camrose RCMP actively participates in this program with the goal of educating the public on vehicle safety restrains, including child safety seats.
Checkstop
Conducted throughout the year, the Checkstop program aims to reduce the occurrence of impaired driving in Alberta. The program draws attention to the dangers and consequences of impaired driving.
