BY-LAW #2293/01 - Schedule of Fees

Business License Fees for existing businesses are due and payable on or before the 31st day of January of the current calendar year or payable immediately upon commencing a new business in the City.

Schedule 1	Annual Fees
(A) City Businesses -	$125.00
(B) (i) NON-CITY or NON_COUNTY Businesses - (ii) NON-CITY or NON-COUNTY (Cultural, Personal and Household) Every person carrying on the business of a cultural nature such as teachers of dance, art, music and education, when teaching is usually on a none to one teacher student basis, or a business which involves the casual sale or distribution of personal or household goods or articles such as cosmetics, lingerie, jewellry, household or kitchen ware, and who provides a service or product not otherwise available to the consumer. Examples include Avon, Mary Kay, Regal, Raleigh, Tupperware, Watkins, etc.	$250.00 $ 60.00
(C) COUNTY Businesses -	$180.00

(D) "HOME OCCUPATION" - (City and County Businesses) (If home occupation gross sales are not anticipated or did not in the last year of operation exceed $10,000)	$180.00 $40.00

Schedule 3
(E) "HAWKER, PEDLAR OR DIRECT SALESMAN"
Every person carrying on a business as a Hawker, Pedlar, or Direct Salesman shall pay a fee of: NON-CITY or NON-COUNTY, DAILY NON-CITY or NON-COUNTY, ANNUAL	$125.00 $250.00
