Welcome to the home page of

Camrose U.K.

This site gives an introduction to the village of Camrose in South West Wales U.K from which it appears that the city of Camrose, Canada takes its name.

The idea for creating this site came about by accident rather than design. Whilst searching the Internet, trying to locate anyone in my own village on the net I was surprised to find so many references to Camrose. Having not heard of the city of Camrose I visited the city`s home page and there discovered that the city of Camrose, Canada was named after "a town in south Wales". Following this I Emailed the city`s web site and with help and encouragement from Marc Fielding this site came into being.

An introduction to the village

Camrose is a small village in the county of Pembrokeshire which is located in the south western corner of Wales. The village is small but it has a shop, pub and football club and is a thriving and expanding community, with much new construction work taking place. The village lies near the centre of the parish of Camrose which is made up of several villages and hamlets all of which are surrounded by acres of rolling farmland.
