This support group will aid in the process. It is sponsored by St. Mary's Hospital and the Camrose Ministerial Association. Meetings: Sessions are held three times a year starting in October, January and April. The day of the week changes with each group of sessions to facilitate people with standing commitments on fixed days. Contact: Rev. Current services include: Continuing Care This program provides live-in assistance and support to people requiring nursing care or ongoing medical assistance. Services are provided in a warm, friendly living environment and include a variety of social and recreational programs. Continuing Care operates a total of 130 beds in two facilities - Louise Jensen Care Centre and Bethany Meadows. To find out more about the service or its many volunteer opportunities, call (780)679-2000. Rosehaven ProgramThe Rosehaven Program is a provincial resource to the continuing care system. It provides services for people who are eligible for or are currently receiving Continuing Care services. These individuals have behaviors which are difficult to manage within their care setting. Its Clinical program is available for in-patient assessment and treatment or outreach consultations. Its Educational Outreach program provides education and training sessions for Continuing Care staff via in-person workshops and distance learning. To find out more, call (780)679-2000. Assisted Living (Designated Supportive Housing)The Bethany Group also offers 78 spaces of Assisted Living (Designated Supportive Housing), in four separate locations - Shepherd House, Faith House, Viewpoint and Bethany Meadows. This program offers facilities tailored to meet the needs of specific client groups, while ensuring the provision of basic services. This program is accessed through the Regional Health Authority's single point of entry assessment system. To find out more, call (780)679-1017. Residential Living (Assisted Living)Deer Meadows is an 80-apartment non-subsidized Residential Living (Assisted Living) complex that provides older adults with options that include one meal per day and other choices to make it possible to remain independent. Seniors' LodgesThe 38-unit Bashaw Valley Lodge and two 65-suite Lodges in Camrose - Rosealta and Stoney Creek, offer room and board plus all the advantages of community living. Seniors' HousingThe Bethany Group offers a variety of seniors housing, including subsidized apartment living at three locations in Camrose - Heritage Manor, Parkview Place & Wild Rose Villa, one in New Norway - Nordic Villa, one in Ferintosh - Beaver House and two in Bashaw - Heritage 1 & 2 and Lakeside Home. In addition, there are two non-subsidized life lease senior apartments in Camrose - Lakeside Village and Hillside Village. To find out more, call (780)679-2002. Crossroads Day ProgramA social day program is available at the Rosehaven Heritage site for disabled and older adults who live at home. To find out more, call (780)679-3045. Community HousingLow and moderate income families benefit from this special program, designed to provide rental accommodation for families that have dependent children and are unable to pay market rental costs. There are 34 duplex units available in Camrose through this program. Each of the housing units is completely self-contained to provide independence. To find out more, call (780)679-2002. NO appointment required. Services: Assessment, Individual psychotherapy, and referral to therapy group or other agency as appropriate. B) Adult Group Program Services: Offers therapy groups on the following topics at no charge: Self-esteem therapy group; stress management training; assertiveness training; eating disorders group. There is also an empowerment group for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse and management of anxiety and panic group. We also offer a Schizophrenia Program. Entry to these groups is through the Walk In Clinic or by referral.
