Project Profile:
The City proposes to repair the existing catch basin in the east bound lane of 48th Avenue at the CN Rail Underpass. This work will follow an investigation by the City's engineering consultant into the drainage, soils and frost conditions associated with the site. An asphalt planer will be used to remove asphalt along the gutter line so that the new pavement matches the existing gutter. An asphalt overlay on top of the existing road service will then complete the project.
Engineering:
The field design and site investigation will be undertaken by Bell M.K. Engineering and site supervision of this project will be conducted by the City Engineering Department.
Contractor:
Quotations from area contractors will be let in the spring of 2003.
