73 Street Overlay

Project Profile:

73rd Street north of 48 Ave was constructed to facilitate the Real Canadian Super Store development in 2001. Paving of the road surface was staged to allow time for any settlements to occur. The City proposed to complete this project with the final lift asphalt paving in 2003. Permanent lane markings will also be applied.

Engineering:

The design and site supervision of this project will be conducted by the City Engineering Department.

Contractor:

Border Paving was awarded the contract for this project in 2001 with the intent of staging the paving to a future date.

Budget and Funding:

Schedule:

Final asphalt paving completed mid July 2003.
