In 2005, the balance of the paving will be completed and only minor deficiency clean up will be left to complete this project.
46th Street will be closed to vehicle traffic for short durations during construction. Fortunately lanes provide an alternative access for the residents in the area, although special arrangements will have to be made to accommodate a few of the business's which front on the street.
Engineering:
The design and site supervision of this project is being conducted by the City Engineering Department.
Contractor:
Border Paving has been awarded the contract for this project.
Budget and Funding:
The 2005 portion is estimated to cost $150,000.
Schedule:
Project completed by the end of September.
