Project Profile:
Accelerating asphalt distress/failures and the associated high maintenance costs involved have brought this
project to the top of the City's priority list with this being the third and final component of the Camrose Drive Rehabiliation project.
To make sufficient repairs to the existing asphalt, planing (grinding) of a layer of asphalt
road surface is required in an effort to mitigate much of the surface cracking you see today. The depth
of grinding and thickness of the new asphalt overlay will vary depending on the existing condition and
the extent of cracking.
Sections of Camrose Drive will be closed to vehicles for short periods during the construction.
Adjacent roadways will provide an alternative access.
The City will provide notice of the upcoming work in an effort to minimize the impact to the motoring public.
