Project Profile:

A storm retention pond was constructed in conjunction with the development of the Super Store / Ramada / O'Shea's commercial developments. Funds were put in place by the developers to beautify the storm pond once the adjacent construction was complete.

City Council recognizes the need to enhance this "entrance feature" on the west side of the City of Camrose and has agreed to contribute a portion of the funding to augment this project.

Construction is expected to begin later this spring with the installation of a paved walking trail, concrete sidewalk extension to the south on the west side of 73rd Street and tree/flower bed plantings.

Engineering:

The design of this project will be conducted by the City Engineering Department.

Schedule:

Concrete sidewalk extension installation is complete.
Site conditions have caused a delay in the remaining components of this project. It has been postponed until the summer of 2008.
