Project Profile:
The 2007 component of this multi year project will see the completion of concrete curb & gutter, sidewalks and asphalt paving in the remaining half of the area. (Please see the 2004, 2005 and 2006 components for project history.).
This local improvement and utility upgrade project saw a staged construction over the last couple years due to the varied scope over this very large improvement area. The City of Camrose would like to thank the local area residents for the great deal of patience that they have shown in dealing with the inevitable disruption that a large re-construction project like this has brought.
Engineering:
The design and site supervision of this project will be conducted by the City Engineering Department.
Contractor:
Joe's Concrete Services Ltd. was awarded the contract for the concrete work.
Border Paving Ltd. was awarded the contract for the paving.
Little Yard Care and Wild Rose Landscaping were awarded the contracts for the landscaping work.
Budget and Funding:
The cost for the completion of this project is $500,000.
Schedule:
Project complete excluding 52B Avenue boulevard tree planting which is scheduled for the spring of 2008.
