The City of Camrose Engineering department is putting plans together to complete the construction of this section of roadway which will include:
- Installation of concrete curb, gutters and sidewalk along 50th Street
- Asphalt Paving (to a depth of 75mm)
- Ditch / Boulevard topsoil replacement and landscaping
The work will result in 50th Street being closed to through traffic for periods of time to facilitate roadway construction.
Engineering:
The design and site supervision of this project will be conducted by the City Engineering Department.
Contractor:
Jo's Concrete Services has been awarded the contract for the concrete curb, gutters and sidewalk.
The contractor for the remaining work is yet to be determined.
Budget and Funding:
This project is estimated to cost $600,000.
Schedule:
Concrete work was completed by the end of June. The paving contract is out for tender and will be submitted to council for approval on July 14th. Paving and landscaping should commence shortly after.
