Recycling Depot Expansion
See the 2007 component for project history.
The 2008 Capital Budget includes the remaining site improvements to complete this project. This involves full road base reconstruction with the installation of concrete curb and gutter to control traffic and drainage. A second entrance will be constructed to provide better traffic flow on the site.
**Expect major delays during construction.
Contractor:
Joe's Concrete Services Ltd. was awarded the contract for the concrete work.
Border Paving was awarded the contract for the base gravel installation and paving.
Budget:
This component of the project is estimated to cose $100,000.
Schedule:
Concrete work is scheduled for June. Excavation and base gravel installation are scheduled for late June.
