Where do I find out information about the cemetery?
The cemetery records are kept at the Community Services Department. For information regarding burials, reserve plots, or monuments, please call 780-672-9195.

What is Decoration Day?
Decoration Day is a special day to pay tribute to those in our cemetery. Many people attend to pay their respects to family and friends. Community Services staff are available to assist with questions and to help people find the grave sites of loved ones.

When is Decoration Day?
Decoration Day is held annually on the third Sunday of August

How long can flowers be left on the turf area for Decoration Day?
Flowers or potted plants may be left on the turf area of graves for three days prior to and one week following Decoration Day. Any flowers or potted plants may be removed and disposed of after that period.
5.
How long are flowers left on a grave after a burial?
Flowers placed on a grave following a burial may be left for seven calendar days, after which they may be removed and disposed of.

Is the City responsible for grave decorations in the cemetery?
The placement of grave decorations in the cemetery is at the sole risk of the owner

Is permission required to place a monument in the cemetery?
Prior to any monument being placed in the cemetery, a monument permit application must be submitted and approved by the Community Services Department. For further information call 672-9195
