Operational Procedures

Welcome to the Valleyview Campground. In order to make your stay an enjoyable one, we would like to make you aware of our operational procedures:

  • The campground is under the Authority of the Community Services Department, City of Camrose and is open from April 30th to October 1st, weather permitting.
  • Registration is based on a first come, first served basis.
  • Campground quiet time is 11:00 p.m.
  • Maximum speed is 20 km/h.
  • Check out time is 2:00 p.m..
  • Payment is based on the honor system. Envelopes may be picked up and dropped off at the grey box on the north east corner of the Stoney Creek Centre. Cheques are to be made out to The City of Camrose.
  • We have 30 power stalls ($20.00 per night) and 10 unserviced stalls ($15.00 per night). For every additional tent on site, a $5.00 fee is required. There are 5 - 30 AMP services and 25 - 15 AMP services. If you do not have power after plugging into pedestal check pedestal breaker. One vehicle per stall allowed, extras park in overflow area. Overflow Use "Tents Only" per night $5.00 fee each (when the area is open).
  • Each serviced stall has an occupied sign attached to the electrical pedestal. If you are to leave with your unit for a day trip, please put the sign out while you are gone. Be sure to drop the sign when you return or your stay is completed. Maximum length of stay is fourteen (14) days. Campground must be vacated at least three (3) nights with unit before returning.
  • Pets must be on a leash and pickup after pets.
  • Feel free to use sanitary dump station. To fill tanks with water, this can be obtained in front of the Stoney Creek Centre.
  • Wood is available at the woodbox next to the picnic shelter. No open fires, use provided pits and stoves only.
  • Showers and washroom facilities are open 24 hours a day. On special events weekend guests will be provided wristbands, which must be worn to identify registration. The showers are coin operated with loonies only.
  • The facilities are cleaned and garbage is picked up on a regular basis. Washroom cleaning schedule 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon daily.
  • Overflow areas are along the fence to the south of the campground and to the west.
  • Consumption of alcohol is to be confined to your stall or camping vehicle only.
  • In case of problems contact the campground attendant or Camrose City Police 672-4444 or 911 (obtain outsiders license plate number if possible). The campground attendant is on duty from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. weekdays and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and long weekends.

The campground is for your convenience so please help keep the campground and washrooms clean.  We hope you enjoy your stay!!
