Local Rules ....

RCGA rules govern all play except where modified by local rules.

  • Out of Bounds (all white stakes and perimeter fencing): See Rule #27 for procedure.
  • Water Hazard (yellow stakes): See Rule #26 for procedure.
  • Lateral Water Hazard (red stakes): See Rule #26 for procedure.
  • Staked Trees(green stakes): Free drop: from the nearest point of relief, within one club length of where it lies, no closer to the hole, no penalty.
  • Screens on Hole #12 and all fences: Are out-of-bounds. They are objects defining out-of-bounds, therefore there is no relief from these structures. See Rule #24a.
  • Water Haszard Hole #4: If the ball is lost in the hazard, the player may, under penalty of one stroke, play another ball from:
    1. the spot the original ball was played, or ....
    2. from the designated drop area - follow singage to that area.
Golf Course Regulations ....
  1. Golfers must vacate the course at sound of storm warning air horn.
  2. Faster groups must play through.
  3. Power carts must be kept 30 feet from greens and must obey all directional signs and ropes.
  4. Each golfer must have own clubs.
  5. Golf professional staff have authority for flow of play.
  6. People stopping for lunch or snacks between nines lose priority on the 10th Tee.
  7. No one may start on the 10th Tee without permission from the Pro Shop.
  8. Disks in the centre of the fairway mark the distance to the middle of the green. Blue 200 yds., White 150 yds., Red: 100 yds.
