The threat of Chemical, Biological, or Nuclear attack in Camrose is very low.  However, the possibility of such an event occurring in Camrose may exist and it is essential that everyone be aware of the threat and the appropriate response in the unlikely event that their home, neighbourhood or place of work are targeted.  The best defense against a CBN attack is education. There are several web pages that can provide information about the signs and effects of a CBN attack and measures to prevent or respond to CBN exposure.  Some good examples are:

Alberta Municipal Affairs - Document on Chemical, Biological and Nuclear Contamination  (Requires Adobe Acrobat Reader)

Canada Post (General advisory and advice)

John Hopkins University - Center for Civilian Biodefense Studies

Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS)
